Analyst Program
The Analyst Program is a comprehensive two-year apprenticeship* based designed to develop future talent for FHN Financial. This program offers exposure to functional areas within the firm, gaining a holistic understanding of our fixed income business and strategies. Participants will be assessed consistently to ensure proficiency and growth, with the ultimate goal of passing the Series 7 licensure and preparing for a successful career in institutional fixed income.

Key Responsibilities
Exposure to numerous functional areas within FHN Financial, including:
Sales & Trading
Investment Banking
Investment Advisory
Strategies, Analytics, and Accounting
Whole Loan Trading
Compliance & Operations
Maintain databases, perform analysis, and produce customer presentations
Collaborate with team members to reach departmental goals and initiatives
Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities, including working closely with mentors and senior management for career development in fixed income
Qualifications
Recent college graduate or MBA graduate with a degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and succeed in the financial services industry
High attention to detail for written analysis and client presentations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and not afraid to ask questions
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
Commitment to obtaining SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licensure within the 2-year program
Candidates are encouraged to obtain the SIE prior to joining the program
Preferred Skills
Previous internship or work experience in financial services or related fields
Knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and financial analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Coding skills in Python or similar programming language
*Note: There is no guarantee of a permanent role after the completion of the program. Permanent placement contingent upon performance during the program.
