Alan Greenspan was so tight-lipped about monetary policy during his tenure as Fed Chairman, CNBC introduced its “briefcase indicator” to predict rate adjustments based on the size of Greenspan’s briefcase on meeting days. Chair Warsh believes Greenspan’s limited communication style has merit, especially when the FOMC is uncertain about future policy, as it is right now entering next week’s FOMC meeting. -8584166898947795750
