The Fed still cuts rates in our updated forecast, but the inflation shock from the Iran War pushes them all the way back toward the end of next year. Also, as noted in the write-up, we agree with the FOMC’s conclusion that the direction of the economy, inflation, and rates are far less certain than it seemed at the start of the year.
